We're thinking of moving there, so we're going down there this weekend to check it out. My husband has his own business, so we can move pretty much wherever we want. My husband loves the beach, and there's a really nice cute little beach near there, Avila beach. I'm not much of a beach person myself, but that's because most beaches are windy. Avila beach isn't windy at all, so it's actually quite nice.

It's along the central coast,
It's along the central coast, california. Nice area. I actually prefer the smaller towns outside of San Luis Obispo better than SLO itself. I'm not really understanding all the hype about SLO actually. I mean, yes, the weather is nice and mild, that a good point. But the city itself seems a bit old and messy. There's one nice pretty new shopping center though. I wish more of SLO looked like that. And I prefer the scenery outside of SLO better than within SLO.
I also think it's funny that people assume that having a university automatically means a place has more cultural diversity. What it actually means is that you'll have more college kids, frat boys, sorority girls running around town. [sarcasm]Yay for loud parties and drunk driving! [/sarcasm].
