I've been wondering if Leno's audience will stick around for Conan. You are right, Conan is very quirky, and not everyone appreciates his style. Leno has a much more "mainstream" sense of humor. Conan's an acquired taste I think.

i've been watching conan's late night show for years and years and as soon as i heard he was taking leno's spot, i know there would be a bit of a shakeup. he is quirkier than leno and his fans like that. if he were to change to be more like leno, he would be betraying his old fans.
some people will not like conan in his new spot, but i think there will be plenty of fans and people with minds that are open enough that they will eventually become fans

I like Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien but I think they should have left things the way they were. Conan is geared more to the younger audience and his show should be on later. The ratings have dropped since Jay Leno's departure. It should be interesting how well Jay's new show will do. 10 PM slot could be really good or really bad.
