Dealing with the concept of death
This past week there have been several celebrity deaths on the news, and it's made me think about death more.
The idea that one day your entire reality will just end is sort of mind bending to me. I mean, on the one hand you won't know you're dead, cause, well, you'll be dead. But it's still weird, that everything you know and love will simply cease to exist in your consciousness. Not even aware of a sense of nothingness, you just vanish, *poof*, gone.
It's weird to me.
because the world would get over-populated and that would suck big-time. :|
Well, it IS a mind-bending concept, but the after-life I believe is something like a reprieve for dealing with living on Earth through all the hardships.
Mother nature has cure for all our misdeeds. Now that we have troubled her with over population, she's trying to regain control by natural calamities which have increased manyfold in past decade.

That's where people believe in "after-life" come in and say that you go to heaven or become a cat or some other weird explanation.
In reality you go to get buried or cremated.
But dying is a weird concept why can't we all stay young and live forever?
